TA 24 - Day 34

- up and over the mountains today!
- stayed at the rudest accommodation last night it was almost comical
- had brekkie and set off 50km until the pass with HUGE headwinds
- scenery was unreal, stopped at waterfalls and surrounded by the peaks of snow - insane
- wasn’t as bad as I had thought - Haast Pass is infamous on the TA as being a brick wall but I cycled the whole way!
- had an amazing chat with a lady about her struggles and connecting to nature
- reached my accom and stayed in a chalet by myself nestled in the alps - AMAZING!
- had a nice spag Bol and went to sleep

Wow that is some amazing scenery. And what a climb. Well done Rory! Absolutely smashing those hills now and heading towards the south rapidly. Very well done. Enjoy it all xx

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
