Jim led eleven riders out of Uxbidge through West Drayton to Longford and on to Stanwell Moor for elevenses at Vermeulen’s Café where we met Dave P.
When it was time to continue six elected to return home while Jim led us on a circuitous route through the outskirts of Stanwell, Ashford, and Laleham to reach the River Thames Path which we followed to Staines-upon-Thames. Over Staines bridge we rejoined the riverside past Bell Weir Lock to lunch at The Italian Concept Restaurant.
After lunch the followed a bit of ‘rough stuff’ along the riverside at Runnymede and taking to the road again to ride through Old Windsor, Datchet, Middle Green, and Iver to stop for tea at Farlows Lake Café.
After a ride round Little Britain Lake we dispersed at Cowley and wended our way home.
