Beautiful day for a bike ride! Larry Grubart, Ben Fischer and I started out for Batavia with an advertised pace of 16-17 mph for the ride. However, once we got moving the pace picked up; nothing unusual about that when the three of us are riding together. Made it to Limestone in just a few minutes more than an hour of riding time! Had a lovely break there, then headed back through Fermilab and Mack Rd. Ran into Bob Long in Fermi, who rode with us the rest of the way. When we got back down to Warrenville, we headed back up to Batavia (skipping Limestone) and back through Fermilab & Mack Rd a 2nd time. This time we started heading home when we got to Warrenville. I did pretty good considering the pace and was able to stay together even through most of the hills. A great ride with great riding partners and tons of fun to boot!
