Nehalem River Campground via Crown Z

Put away your crown Vic and hop on your bike to do the Crown Z. You could camp at Anderson Park or do the whole thing in a day or extend it to LL Stub and bike the Bank to Vernonia Trail too. Plenty of great views, information boards, and places to restock and rest.

Start in the town of Scappoose, OR and follow the Crown Zellerbach, crest the Nehelam Divide and fly on into the town of Vernonia, OR. There you'll find places to get water and food and even camp in town. Continue onto the Banks Vernonia Trail and either head to LL Stub Steward State Park or take the side roads to Nehalem River Campground. The next day, reverse and fly on into Scappoose after another climb of the Nehalem Divide.
