Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today's weather was a complete change from the previous ride. Pretty much perfect conditions. Winds from the north and low 70's. Today was also the first day that I rode since my cramping on the double ride. The way out proved to be relaxing, but the return trip was scattered with leg cramping every 10 minutes or so. That was the story of the day's ride. I had to nurse my right leg over the climb in all the ways I could. By load balancing to the left leg. Out of the saddle, and stretching. My right hand was a little numb on a few occasions, but nowhere near the magnitude as my leg cramping. In a way, I wasn't too surprised, as I had the same symptoms as the previous ride. My concentration was a bit off today, but what can you expect with a ride full of ailments. Balance, can't comment on that. My gear is working great. I forgot to clear the SD card before the ride. I noticed that it wasn't recording half way down the descent. So I decided to just leave it and get on with the ride.
