Advanced Gravel Bike Route - The first 5 miles leaving from Hartland (clockwise) is definitely rough and is for the confident rider on a 45mm wide tire when the trails are wet. This route travels along the ATV trails and can get tricky when muddy in the spring. When mapping this ride (Ridden June 2, 2024) the trails were open to ATVs and it was a Sunday morning and I only saw 3 ATVs on the entire route. All three interactions were pleasant and respectful. It's a beautiful loop with some great views of Great Moose Lake on the north side of the lake.
