Today's weather was great. Perfect temperature. Although the winds were from the south, but brisk. I wore the normal attire. Today was another test. I wanted to see what my calf muscle would do on the same course as the previous ride. Although, the weather was drastically different. That is beyond my control. It turned out, that, I had no real ailments. I was concentrated on my body almost the entire ride, trying to see if there were any hints of ailments anywhere. There were a few blips of pain in my leg muscles at times. But, I think that's negligible. I did moderate tempo the entire ride and one slight dig over the summit of Cummings Valley Rd. I did pretty good time today, making it to Boss Hogs in well under an hour. I had good leg balance today. I think a lot of that was due to the fact that I was hyper conscious about my body signals. Overall it was a solid ride. I plan on doing the same ride at least one more time, then I'll decide where to step it up. Either the full Tour de The (SS,R) or Keene n Back. My gear worked perfect today. Other notes, my Sony mp3 Walkman died. It no longer holds its charge. I tried to repair it, but gave up. Time to buy another!
