Oct 9 100k MTB ride counterclockwise attempt

Wind, nice temps although at 7400 ft it was almost brisk. I think washboard roads should be outlawed, there were about 16 to 18 miles of washboard. Fortunately in was so windy the dust clouds from the numerous considerate motorists cleared quickly. I missed my turn - I don't know why the road number signs are so far up the road from the intersection - and didn't get a good landmark until 3 miles later. I decided to make the ride an out and back because I wasn't confident I would find the next 6 or 8 road intersections, and it was cold and windy, no cell service, didn't want to worry my wife (again). Coming back was FAST. Got a full 100k in even though it is still not the one I planned on.
