Along the river and then up into the grounds of Boston Manor. Will have to come back and check out the house (it's free). Then along the Grand Union Canal and into the Brent River Park.
Through the Warren Farm Nature Reserve and up Windmill Lane to check out the historic Three Bridges. The last project designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, a rail line passes under the Grand Union Canal, which is passing under Windmill Lane road bridge. (You'll not there is only two actual bridges involved, but the Three Bridges name has stuck).
Then along one of my favourite rides in inner London, Osterley Lane, which weaves through a few farms, and you'd swear you were out in the country if it wasn't for the noise of the M4 (which the road passes over). This leads into the grounds of Osterley House.
After that, down to Isleworth where I stopped for a fry-up breakfast. After the meal, a leisurely ride through Isleworth Cemetery and Syon house, and then back home.
A meander, with some wrong turns at times, and stopping to take lots of photos and check where I was on the map.
