Day started cool and clear, then as we stopped for coffee in Werchter, the clouds began to close in. We had an hour to ride 12 miles so our group waited at the bar went slow. It rained nearby, but we missed it. Several detours before lunch, including a biobreak in Wilselle as a result of construction. Lunch spot was just as included in guide, and even better than yesterday. After lunch we made an impromptu stop to visit som begging Llamas. They walked to the fence as we approached to check us out. Afternoon turned nice and some of us made a coffee and ice cream stop in Herk-de-Stad. Met some nice people there while local farm types had their afternoon get together. Roll into Hasselt was not on bike paths, but bike lanes on main roads (with Google Maps help) did the trick.
