I injured my right knee yesterday. It was more of a bad bruise than anything. It made it difficult to put loads such as going up and down stairs. I decided to ride today with the thought of keeping an eye on the knee as I went along. I made it to the top of OTR and felt ok. My knee still felt sore (no surprise), but I knew I would be able to continue with the ride. This route was perfect in that I could ride it without having to put myself into the red zone due to the terrain (being that it's just gradual undulations). I did easy tempo up and back. So long as I kept it at that tempo, my knee was fine. Still sore, but the ride was very doable. Other than the sore knee, I had no other ailments worth mentioning. My concentration was good. Just locked into monitoring the knee. Balance was good, I had to adjust the load from left to right leg on some occasions. The bike is the same situation. a few clicks here and there, and some repetitive noises. Still haven't figured that out yet.
Other note I forgot to mention. There were some gliders out today. I saw a cesna pull a glider into the air.
