This turned out to be the most disasterous ride ever . It pissed! I went just beyond Jobstown and then went on the minor road to Brittas . I noticed that it was getting a bit rain-like ,but no rain yet . It was cold , so I put my raingear on . When in Brittas , I knew that the way to B/ton was on the main road but the traffic was heavy , but I could not remember whether you could go left and then right and then hit B/ton that way so I asked 3 drivers . Everybody told me that the way there was .......I knew the effin way there I wanted to know whether I could go the other effin way ! Jesus! Eventually I decided to go the main way . Then the rain started . It came down in stair rods . So I sheltered under the trees which was not that dry . I gave that up eventually and decided to go to B/ton to have something to eat and drink a cuppa . then I was really drenched so I decided to turn around and head off home . Such a fuck-up of a day . I only did 44KM but it was very dangerous on the way back . Very dangerous . so not a good cycle . When I came home Ranelagh was dry .
