01/20/18 Cedar Rock Mountain-Chip

We approached from the south east side off Art Loeb Trail. Snow and ice all the way with no footprints ahead of us on the Cedar Mountain part of the trail. I was surprised by a Hello as I reached the Rock face from the wooded trail. Two skilled and hearty climbers had scaled the rock face from the other side. They're knowledge and experience allowed them to scale the steep rock without the use of ropes. Great Job! We enjoyed the views from this panoramic outcropping then doubled back. We plan to explore further on future hikes.

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
