先々週に引き続き糸島へトレーニングライド。久しぶりにビンディングで。長いこと「フラペで十分じゃん」などとたるんだことを言い続け、5月の久住阿蘇ツーリング220kmまでもフラペで行ってしまったのは、我ながらヘタレてるんだか、すごいんだか。
でも先週糸島に純粋にトレーニングとして走りに行って、そういう走り方をするならビンディングを使わない手はないなと思い、今日からそうすることにした。
街中はなかなかペダルをつかまえられず、減速とか信号停車のときも、なんかおぼつかない。傍から見れば完全に初心者って感じ。でも今回はずっと幹線道路を走り、きちんとトレーニングらしい走りができた。いまさら「あ、ペダルって踏むんじゃなくて回すんだ!」みたいな😅
THALIAの辺りで結構な雨に降られて、逆に暑さが和らいで快適だった。
単純にロードバイクでトレーニングすることを楽しく感じられるようになった。これまでの自分からすれば、それだけでも上出来。できれば毎週でも走りに行きたい。

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
