Training objective: 2-4 hour tempo ride with the heart rate between 140-150 bpm's and the cadence running at 75-85 rpm's.
Against the wind the last 2 hours. I couldn't resist a few sprints, which of course got the heart rate up a bit higher than the target, but I was feeling strong, so what the heck. :) Will take it easier tomorrow - probably ~100 km's and I'll stick to the heart rate/cadence objectives the whole time - I promise!
I used the lap/split function but only at the 2 hour mark and then again at 4 hours 15 minutes. Except for leaving the city, the 1st 2 hours felt pretty fast.
Either a family of chirping canaries were following me or it's time for a good clean of the chain and cassette and re-lube. And maybe even a service in case the bearings in the crank are starting to go... hmmm, maybe it was canaries.
Seriously, though, if I need to take my bike in for a major service I'm going to be out of action for at least a few days (shops are closed Sundays

Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
