Training objective: heart rate between 140-150 bpm's and cadence at 75-80 rpm.
Drizzle and super windy at times (I resisted the urge to pull over and call at taxi!). Had to take a bit of pace off occasionally, as braking time is about 4x that of dry conditions. I did a bit of a sprint on the gravel in the Naarndenbos (forest) which got the heart rate up, but I couldn't resist. :) Besides fighting the wind, I also gave it a bit on the bridges, but in general I stayed within the heart rate and cadence range.
Despite the weather, today’s tempo ride gave me 24 Strava accomplishments including 6 personal records and 5 top 20 times, 2 top 10 times (but not my best times), and two 8th best times… See: https://www.strava.com/activities/728724529/
Used the lap/split function to mark the end of the 1st hour, the 2nd hour, with the last lap being the final cool down to the bike storage locker.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
