Training objective: 8x intervals of 3 mins @ 65 rpm, followed by a hard ride with heart rate @ 155
Rain didn't stop me, but the broken spoke did. As I was going up for interval #7, I looked down at the rear wheel and realized something was wrong. At first I thought it was another flat, until I saw the wobble. Abandoned the training session and rode the bike to the local bike shop for repair. May have to do tomorrow's recovery ride on the stationary bike (there's no ANT sensor so I'll have to load it manually).
Used the lap/split function but had a problem when the lap button didn't work between one return the starting point and the next climb up (lap/split 11), so they are combined. Here's a summary:
Lap/split 1: easy warm-up ride to starting point
Lap/split 2: interval #1 up bridge, including flat section before
Lap/split 3: return ride down to starting point
Lap/split 4: interval #2 up bridge, including flat section before
Lap/split 5: return ride down to starting point
Lap/split 6: interval #3 up bridge, including flat section before
Lap/split 7: return ride down to starting point and interval #4 up bridge, including flat section before (lap button didn't work on way down so 2 legs are combined here)
Lap/split 8: return ride down to starting point
Lap/split 9: interval #5 up bridge, including flat section before
Lap/split 10: return ride down to starting point
Lap/split 11: interval #6 up bridge, including flat section before
Lap/split 12: return ride down to starting point
Lap/split 13: start of interval #7 up bridge, but abandoned on flat section before I came to the bridge due to broken spoke
Lap/split 14: part of ride up/down bridge
Lap/split 15: ride to bike shop for repair

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
