Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

A very cold Wednesday but glorious sunshine for most of the day. This was Sandra's ride but due to family illness she could not make it. On reaching Uxbridge numbers were few and far between. After the call for the long ride only 3 stepped forward, Bernie, obviously, Geoff and John. 11's was planned for the Garden cafe Windsor and I had planned to meet four ladies there who were joining the ride. They were already there and warming themselves when we arrived. At least this bought the numbers up to 8. Off to Windsor great park and the little off road track which was being relayed, on reaching the section not yet finished, which was a shingley soft and, I immediately stopped dead as my wheels sank and fell sideways unable to unclip quick enough, no injury except me pride. Through the park and out via the Peanut roundabout and onto Cranbourne, the drift road and down to Fifield and nearly to Bray crossing the path next to the M4 and through Dorney skirting the South side of the lake and onto Lunch at the Windlesora.
The place was not busy at it was now around 1.45pm, food was served quickly as usual at Spoons. Fed and watered it was decided that there would be no tea stop so everyone went their own ways home. The weather was fantastic really, apart from the chill in the air the sun shone for the best part of the day. Thank you Bernie, Geoff, John, Irene, Pam, Liz and Gll for your company. One of the most pleasant days on the bike this year
