Camp Wilkerson Loop (Vernonia)

Wilkerson Park was a bit confusing. The day use parking is just inside the entrance to the park, on the left side of the driveway, and it's simply on the side of the road. You will not find a lot or marked spaces. As for the bike ride...
The first 14 miles are gravel and the final 4 are pavement.
We followed someone elses route and found that miles 8 - 14 are on private Weyerhouser property. This portion of the ride was slightly overgrown; it's clearly not been used for a long time.
The final 4 miles are on the Nehalem Hwy w no shoulder or bike lane, but we only saw 2 cars during this stretch.
Overall nice ride...very glad to have ridden our emtb's.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
