rainy day. had trepidations but I felt great. almost never felt out of control and my visibility was still decent. at least 10 hours of sleep lol wtf. still the only slightly bad moment was once again, uphill on schutt road. I hate it. but I didn't feel like staying out In the rain longer than I had to. this is the strongest I've ever felt this summer. didn't rush too much either. aside from some mild, gearing problems, I believe I'm ready for my New Paltz trip. I'm gonna do it at the end of August. just do the same thing I did today, but a little longer. conserve my energy for the second half of the ride. glide as much as I can in the first half. did my seatpost move at all? big reason why I'm so fucking comfortable and ok after riding. just mild saddle soreness after 20 miles. barely remember any position readjustments. I could have kept going longer having snacks was a great idea. makes the trip more bearable. delicious! I want another bar bag instead of carrying them on my back
