Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today's weather was cold and windy. I decided to play it safe. I did an in-door training session. This time was the Watopia Mountain Loop. It took a while to get warmed up. I didn't use a fan. It took about 5 minutes into the climb for perspiration to begin. I did the usual in and out of the saddle intervals. So, in the saddle at around 150-175 Watts. Out of the saddle at around 3.5-4 watts/kg. I wasn't pushing hard till the summit. I did a sub 28 minute climb. Afterwards, the radio tower climb. From there, it was downhill into town. Then Through the rollers. I put in a good dig through the 200 meter sprint section. From there, keeping the watts/kg at around 2.2 - 3.0. I made one full circuit, crossing the finish line in just over an hour. After that was the cool-down phase. Concentration was good. I had mixed moods when I got on the bike, but it didn't detract too much from my concentration. Balance and form felt good. Ailments, none. Gear is working well. I did get bumped out of the app. I couldn't alt-tab back, so I unplugged the HDMI cable and reconnected it. That did the trick. Other notes, about 1.5k riders today. I think the Alp'Duez (sp?) route is on this map, but I don't know how to get there yet.
