This was a sort of strange ride as it was enjoyable and not enjoyable . I went through some lovely wooded roads and some lovely views . I had a really close up view of the Cement works at Platin whch was interesting . It is bleedin' huge . But I found it very hilly and a few times I had to walk rather than cycle . I came just beside the Boyne at the Treatment Station a few miles outside Drtogheda and walked from there along by the path just beside the Boyne - a lovely walk . I then had something to eat at Slane where these two other cyclists appeared , one of whom seemed to be suffering from overfriendliest! A strange psychological thing to suffer from . But outside the café he took his clothes off as far as bare chest. Rather strange on a cold day . He then came in and took over the café . He sprawled himself over the place of two people . When I was leaving the café he came out afterwards and demonstrated to me how to place my helmet on tightly and also not to put my glasses in at first but to leave them till last . Anyway there was no harm in him but I think he had a habit of over doing it . Apart from all that it was a strange cycle as I became very tired and decided to come home early so I gave u a few miles further . So all I had done was less than 50 KM, so very dissappointing but still the colours were lovely Autumnal colours in the trees. You cant win em all.
