White Mtn Rd

Rode with Doug. Was warm heading out but as we climbed, there was a cool breeze. Hwy 168 had very little traffic and I think I only saw about 10 cars up White Mtn. I was actually relieved to see cars just in case we had a break-down. This was one hard ride though... psychologically, it killed me. Perhaps it was the elevation (started at 4000 and rose to 9500), not sure. Maybe it was the fact that we climbed 5500 feet in 21 miles...There were some pretty steep grades along the way. We had to end the ride short of the Sherman Grove because the road was blocked about 1.5 miles below. You have no idea how happy I was about this!! The ride back was sweet! The best downhill ride I have taken in a long time! Loved it.

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
