How'd it go?

Ride went well. Felt good. A bit of pain when standing up on the
pedals.Still a fair amount of pain through out the night and in
getting the day started.Don't think riding had any negative effect on
my situation.Hope to get out again tomorrow.

I still think you should skip the Wildflower. Keep doing short rides , as your schedule allows, and we will plan a ride together after you get back from Ireland.

I have resigned to the fact that the Wildflower is out this year.Hope
to ride this weekend although the weather may be shitty. We'll
see.Have a good weekend.

The forecast for Reno this weekend looks like typical Reno weather; chilly in the morning, windy in the afternoon. Pick your poison! Slight chance of precipitation.

Just rode the Sommersett-Verdi Hella 20.Helluva lot of wind, helluva
lot of rain, hella hail and a helluva lot of fun.Soaking wet. Took a
half hour to get the road grime outta my jersey and riding pants.Felt
good.
