DuPage FP Fat Bike Ride 9-23-24

Farley 9.6. Mostly cloudy, much cooler in the mid-60's, ENE winds @ 8-9 mph with gusts up to 14 mph. Very comfortable weather for a bike ride. Good pace for a Fat Bike trail ride with tons of stops and starts. Legs felt great after a rest day yesterday (rain).

Different starting point today, off the Batavia Spur of the Prairie Path by the Outlet Mall in North Aurora, then rode out to Warrenville Grove, St James Farm, Herrick Lake, Danada and part of Blackwell before returning to the start.

Lots of cyclists out and plenty of hikers. I saw one deer, a big Doe. These particular DuPage Forest Preserves are some of the best maintained and scenic in the Chicagoland area and the best part is they're all connected via the Prairie Path.
