Started with the dirt loop through the valley of the gods the scenery is amazing with large rock formations jetting from the ground 80 to 100 feet high easily and a beautiful red clay color - to the switchbacks to summit the mountain Then rode north west towards lake powell where after many blind turns or cresting hilltops countless times amazing scenery was revealed with red clay rock formations with color bands - tried to have lunch in Bullfrog but the road was closed Took the Burr Trail Rd into Capitol Reef National Park which was amazing with huge craggy red spires emerging from the ground - kinda like Pinnacles on steroids - took the dirt switchbacks up the mountain The road eventually took us to Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument which was amazing with boulders and canyons Then the Dixie National Forest with fall changing yellow leaved trees at over 9000 feet Capped off with dinner in Torrey at the Broken Spur Steakhouse An amazing day - the dirt sections were easy though there was tricky sand at times
