Windy Tuesday Tempo - 5/1

Brutal tempo ride with strong SSW winds (gusting to 30+ mph). Large group to start (Dave M, Dave F, Tony, Chris, Jim V, Matt, Troy, Rick, Steve M, Tim and Don(?)) which splintered a bit as the ride wore on. Double paceline flew northbound and they had strong cross and head winds to deal with. I was the first to drop after ~8 miles. Caught up to Rick (on his second puncture), Steve and Dave F and then took Harter Road for shortcut. May be my most extreme speed difference between fastest and slowest pace on a ride this year.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
