Lollipop shaped 100K loop from Bellevue to the northern end of the Natchez Trace. After 10 miles on the Trace, cyclocross CX over to Firetower Road, then down Big East Fork to South Harpeth and head south to Caney Fork road. Caney Fork has a rest stop along the creek and the refurbished iron furnace from the 1800s. Rode up Caney Fork to Deer Ridge to 46, down Lampley to scenic Younger’s Creek, past Iris City Gardens to Shoals Branch, then down Oscar Green to North Lick Creek. Just about every house on N. Lick Creek was for sale for some reason, as I headed back up to Garrison Creek back to 46 and Liepers Fork and a snack at Red Bird Coffee. Got back on the Trace and headed back to Bellevue. Great ride on a pleasant day!
