Moseyed down to North Carolina to ride a Rando 100 K in tribute to a fallen RBA from that region. This and a couple other routes already on the schedule were placed on Sundays by the RBA to accommodate riders not able to do events on Saturdays. After his passing from a hit and run while riding his bicycle in August, the members of the region decided to run the events in his memory. The route was nice and the weather just right. Six riders, four locals, Dawn E. and me took on the rolling hills up to Mt Tirzah. No hills were of the killer type, which was fine with me. But there were some extended climbs that ensured we had work to do. Dawn and I agreed that we'd need to train more on hills to keep up with the locals.
