Yumihari, Sasebo - up down up down

Exploring local rides and routes. Took an indirect approach up Yumihara. Didn't work out well and ended up on a small foot path with steps, so not recommended. But once on the main road again, the climb to Yumihara was fine and little traffic. Nice view from the top.

I headed down Yumihara on what I thought would be a small road. Turned out that it is not used so it was full of branches, pine, and fallen rocks. Also a steep descent. So it was slow going for those 2 km. Once I reached the valley, there was a nice view of farm fields.

The ascent back up the backside of Yumihara was on good road with no cars. I recommend this road.

Once back up Yumihara, descended to Sasebo City.
