Kira wanted to do a Halloween ride and it ended up just being us Adventure Ghouls (credit Natalie for this play on Adventure Girls). I knew from walking outside last night that it would get cold so I brought all the layers but I wasn’t expecting to need to put on most of them right at the start. Before sunset. We saw some amazing decorations. My favorite moment was when we were approaching Kira’s favorite house, she was telling us we were almost there when it was the only house visible with decorations. I asked her, “This house?” and she replied, “It’s coming.” We coasted towards and when we were finally directly in front of it, she said, “This one!” as if we weren’t looking at it all along. 🤣🤣🤣 Natalie had to bug out early and we met up with Anthony at the Atherton library that was pretty elaborately decorated with spiderwebs and spiders. There were supposed to be spider facts to go with the display but they were missing. We saw Anthony’s favorite house that had several giant carved pumpkins, one that I recognized as The Predator. There was another alien that I feel like I’ve seen from a show or movie but wasn’t sure which one. Impressive display as well. Honestly, there were a lot of really impressive decorations. Good job everyone! After we grabbed food from O2 Valley where Kira ordered the Grilled Chicken Cutlet only to find that it’s deep fried and then put on the grill. 🤣🤦🏻‍♂️ The deep fried chicken cutlet was delicious but they gave enough for two or three meals.
