Fuel EX 9.8. Cloudy, humid and cool - in the low to mid 50's, SE winds @ 7 mph with gusts @ 16 mph but not much of a factor in the woods. Got out really early, rolled from the trailhead @ 7:50 am, finished well before 11 am. I saw several other riders, 7 deer, including an 8 point, 2 x 6 points and a 2 point young buck, plus 3 does, also a few black squirrels. I rode the West trails first, then took the North connector over to the East side and did both the North and South sections. I also rode the new downhill trails which are still somewhat under construction. Interesting with an extremely hard switchback climb plus 3 different downhill trails - I did the 3rd one but I'm sure they will add some features to make them easy, intermediate and hard. After completing the East trails, crossed back over and did some repeats on the West side. I passed 5,500 miles year to date today. I should wind up with over 7,000 or so miles for the year. Light lunch and rehydration at The Assembly. No rain during the ride but it did start on the way home.
