I was worried how i would feel after doing the late night interval training on Friday because I was really sore and tired all day Saturday and during my pre-race day easy ride. I did a great job keeping myself in the top 10 or so through out the race, I think I need to move up just a few more spots and hold it. Every time I dropped back a few spots there were an attack or break away luckily non of them stuck. As the race went on I started to feel good and my confidence started to build. I really felt if I could keep my position in the top I might be able to really see what my sprint would be like. My accelerations during the race felt good and strong, I recovered well too. Well I got a little lacks with about 3 miles to go and had to work to move back up but the double line rule was working against me as I was being blocked and could get around the the blockers. With less than a mile to go the blockers did their job well as the main sprinters and those in front of the blockers started to pick up the pace I couldn't do nothing but watch. Once we made the turn with 350 yards to go and the whole road was open I took off after the leader but it was a little too late, I did pass several on my attempt to shut down the distance. I did feel fast and strong, I stayed seated as I spun out each gear. I could have gone faster but it wouldn't have made too much difference. This may have been my fastest sprint to date. The interval training is working.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
