Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I wasn't sure what the temperature was going to be, today. It was foretasted to be in the 80's. It felt more like upper 70's due to the cool breeze. Suffice it to say, a good day for riding. i knew I wanted to do a double. But was contingent on how my legs felt. I made my way out to Keene in average time. Upon reaching the summit, I took a few moments to adjust my walkman. Then headed back. The legs felt good. Sufficiently warmed up. I had my mind set on the Alpine Forest, so mentally, I was saving some matches. But, it didn't detract from my tempo. That was no less than moderate. After making the summit, I headed down to the mailbox and refilled bottles. Then headed out. The legs felt nice and warmed up. Again, saving matches for later. Banducci felt good. Being that my legs were warmed up. I was able to up the tempo on Alpine Forest. I was near maximum on the last bump. At this point, I knew I had the legs to go down to CV. After reaching the Banducci summit, I did a provisions check. I had enough. I swapped camera batteries, fed half a power bar, and then headed downhill. Fun and games, more or less. Going through the vally, I kept the tempo moderate. Doing 18MPH+ for most of the leg. The last climb... I was fatigued, but able to put the power down. No heroics. After the summit, I was going to feed without stopping, but the power bar was half eaten and the wrapper needed 2 hands to remove. I opted for stopping and removing it. Took about 5 seconds. I ate the remainder while riding. From there it was mostly fun and games. Traffic mitigation through Route 202, and the usual descent through OTR. Concentration felt good. I had a few things to think about. So, that helped. Ailments were next to none. Some knee soreness here and there, nothing detracting. A hint of calf muscle soreness, subsiding in the minute realm. Balance and form was good, not great. Was leaning toward the dominant leg. Gear is working well. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
