Burlington Prairie FP Fat Bike Ride 11-13-24

Farley 9.6. Partly sunny, cool but comfortable in the high 40's/low 50's, SE winds @ 7-8 mph, gusts up to 18 mph. The second FP checked out today, a totally boring ride on mostly grass trails exposed to the wind. This is just a typical Kane County Forest Preserve - no effort whatsoever to make it interesting or anything special.

The lower portion was so bad I didn't even bother to ride it after seeing it from the parking area. You actually have to ride on pavement for 1/2 mile to reach the lower trails from the upper. And the pavement on Engel Rd has gotten so bad I wouldn't ride it on a road bike.
