Tenerife, El Teide - Chio - Chio - El Teide (Tenerife)

Filmed just a few minutes after the Masca ride late in the day with an amazing sunset. It starts off a bit grey with some long empty car free stretches of hard climbing on poor tarmac. As you ride higher the sun starts to light up the terrain and sky in a kaleidoscope of colour which ends deep inside the Teide National park with a view of the Teide Volcano. It’s rare to see the park at this time of the day and the views and lighting are worth the effort of climbing up there. This is the least steep side of the climb.
