#5252 Desert Loop 200k

What a great way to finish my K-Hound goal of 10,000 RUSA km in calendar year and to complete my R-12 of a RUSA ride of 200km or more in each consecutive month for 12 months!

Plus I got to eat at Ike's sandwich shop for the first time in about 12 years. Ike is a friend of Sonja.

Great route, down the Scottsdale Greenbelt, along Tempe Town Lake for a small part, through ASU and the neighborhoods just south of ASU. Then finally out to Queen Creek. Here in Queen Creek I diverged a bit into old town. Cool.

Then up to Usery Pass and the Salt River Canyon which I always enjoy.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
