Day 2, more miles than yesterday, but we wanted to do another 10. However, there were no hotels as we went west beyond Meredith NH. So we stopped in Meredith and are staying at the Inn at Mills Falls right on Lake Winnipesaukee. They gave us a good deal. Nice place. Ride was uneventful. Started out cool, got warmer, turned cloudy and cool, but ended sunny and warm. We took Route 25 most of the way, nice road for the most part especially in the more rural areas with wide shoulders. However, as you get towards the more populated areas it gets narrow and there is a lot of traffic including logging trucks. Little scary at times. Inn at Mills Falls - very nice and they gave us a good deal. Meals Breakfast - ate at Phat Bros in Cornish, what a great breakfast sandwich, two eggs, sausage, ham, and bacon!! Lunch - nice place in Moultenboro, the Village Kitchen, great coconet cream pie!! Dinner - Frog Rock Tavern, nothing to write home about.
