LotSW go to Crofton Beam Engine House

Damp start to the day. Simon & I drove over to Whitchurch with our bikes loaded on Dobbin. Here we joined the LotSW riders. Rode up the Bourne Valley and over the hill at Oxenwood. Turned west into the wind which was quite strong. Made my poorly side hurt. Ian and David both had punctures. We had refreshments at the Crofton Beam Engine House cafe, The afternoon was sunny and the hedgerows are now decorated with briar roses in many places. The barley is ripening well and the rape seed pods are filling. A red kite was being harried by a much smaller bird near Fosebury. Simon rode home from Whitchurch.

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail).
