First >100mi ride of the season. Felt better than last week's 84mi ride. Had headwinds entire ride. 0-5 N in the AM then 4-8 S in the afternoon. Butt held up better than last week--Assos F.Mile shorts + extra chamois cream at the 50mi helped. Had a flat that cost me 20 minutes. Trouble is, this ride took 8hrs. Need to get this down to 7 to make the Total 200 possible. Though, this route has a ton climb.
Notes:
1) 46cm Sidi Genius Mega Pro shoes are perfect fit, no foot problems unless I tighten the straps too much
2) Assos F.Mile bib shorts did much better than the Castelli. Much less chaffing.
3) No pee problem with Accerlerade, scratch Perpetuem from the list
4) Lost close 5lbs, not drinking enough. Only pee'd 3 times and a small amount at that.
5) 2 scoops of Accelerade per 28oz bottle is a bit to thick, suspect 1.5 will be better.
6) May need to augment gels with something more. Did a 16oz Bottle House smoothie in Taneytown, but think I need to try power bars in addition.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
