Wind River Camp to Pinedale (S. Jackson St. Camping)

Gorgeous morning in our wild camp along the Wind River Range 47 miles out of Pinedale, WY. Wyoming people radiate an independent spirit, no doubt a reflection of their boundless & arresting landscape. Private property, fences, and no trespassing signs are part of the American way of life, and Wyoming has its share of fences, nevertheless, a lot of land lays within its boundaries, reminding me of Fletcher & Porter’s 1934 song “Don’t Fence Me In” - Oh, give me land, lots of land under starry skies above
Don't fence me in
Let me ride through the wide open country that I love
Don't fence me in
Let me be by myself in the evening breeze
Listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees
Send me off forever but I ask you please
Don't fence me in (Frankie Laine, METROLYRICS).
Our favorite Pinedale attractions are Pine Coffee Supply, Sublette County Library, and our $10 per night camp on South Jackson.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
