Mtn bike route from Redinger to Sierra Scenic Byway and back to Redinger loop

Goes up a mostly abandoned dirt road 3,000 ft climbing in 10 miles. Road has about 2 miles of rougher stuff-steep with deep eroded gullies(2 1/2 ft deep in places . Use caution even going up and definitely going down. Eventuality (mile 7?)you will go thru what used to be a gate and there is a junction on the other side side of the barbed wite fence. Road grade and steepnesss much friendlier here. You’ll actually have a nice long downhill then climb back up to the Sierra Scenic Bywayay, but the grade is much gentler than the first 7 miles. This road comes out on the Sierra Scenic Byway where FCC has the Lions Gatee rest stop on the Grizzly Century. Then it’s mostly downhillll back to Redinger( maybe 100 ft more of climbing?). We did in Jan on a nice day. Defin not a summer ride. Only water (lake/creek)was near the start /end
