01/30/2025 All aboard to Rockmart 200 k

200 K Randonneur permanent. I did this loop route on the Silver Comet and Chief Ladiga trails. This are almost entirely paved trails off of road traffic. These are rails to trails routes, although on the Georgia side the trail was often to the side of existing active railroad. This meant many cris crosses of the tracks to ride along opposite sides. It also meant we could experience sharper grades than would be on a typical rails to trails route.... and we did! Lots of small branches and tree debris west of Rockmart and tons of asphalt ripples on the Chief Ladiga in Alabama. Rode with Dawn and met car friend in Alabama fir pizza stop.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
