CS:93 Canberra Airport [Ride 1/2] 2025/02/09

Clay's Cycling Canberra Project: Every Street 'n Every Suburb.
- Canberra Airport, ACT (inc. Fairbairn)
- #93 (of 122 suburbs). Incomplete

- One missed section:
1. Short access road off Catalina Drive (between Service station and McDonalds), along with the northern side of Mustang Avenue.
* This was addressed at the start of CS.93.2 (16 Feb.).

NB 2: The Majura Park Shopping Centre has a significant area devoted to car parking, and for some reason much of this has been traversed by Google mapping team. The CCCP's "Rules of Engagement" doesn't include car parks per se, but does include any roads that travel to, within or around parking bay areas. I rode any section of roadway that appears to fall within the latter rule, and am satisfied that I covered all of those fall within the RoE.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
