Fuel EX 9.8. A mix of sunny, cloudy and in between, temps in the low to mid 20's, some wind but not noticeable in the woods. Rode the far East side of the trails then crossed over to the West side back down to the trailhead. No other riders or hikers out. I saw 19 deer, mostly in groups on the East side, a couple of solo deer on the West side. The only place sunshine made a difference was in the upper West Prickly Prairie as the temps were climbing so some spots of thaw and a bit of shallow mud which I did my best to avoid. Most of the woodland singletrack was frozen, crunchy and covered with some light snow from last night's flurries. Nice riding the MTB, switching back to the fat bike with snow moving in the next several days. Stopped at The Assembly for a light lunch after the ride.
