CS:26 Yarralumla [Ride 3/3] 2023/01/22

Clay's Cycling Canberra Project: Every Street 'n Every Suburb.
- Yarralumla, ACT
- #26 (of 122 suburbs). Completed on 2 May 2023. [21.31%]

No missed sections

- Sections ridden later: Yarralumla's southern border becomes very complicated around the area where Cotter Road, Adelaide Avenue and Yarra Glen meet. For safety reasons I decided to focus on these sections during a specific early-morning random ride as it required crossing sides of these major roads, as well some doubling back.
1. Yarra Glen: both directions (leading up to and away from) Adelaide Avenue (near the Kent Street overpass);
2. Adelaide Avenue (Hopetoun Circuit flyover); and
3. Adelaide Avenue on-ramp, and Cotter Road off-ramp.
* All three sections above were addressed on 2 May 2023 (see RR:41).

- Previously ridden sections: The following were both ridden on 23 April 2023 (see CS:18-Capital Hill).
1. State Circle (between Flynn Avenue and Commonwealth Avenue underpass)
2. Commonwealth Avenue (from State Circle overpass to Coronation Avenue).

◙ The combined statistics for Yarralumla are Ride Time: 4.14.0 • Moving Time: 3.47.29 • Distance: 68.99 km • Average Speed: 17.2 kph • Elevation Gain: 739 m.

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
