Clay's Cycling Canberra Project: Every Street 'n Every Suburb. - Weston, ACT - #05 (of 122 suburbs). Incomplete There were no "accidentally" missed section for this ride. However, three sections within the planned ride were not attempted: 1. Hilda Street (Lycett to Heyson). 2. Featherstone Place (off Heyson). This is public access only up to the Islamic School of Canberra gates. * Both sections above were addressed on 16 Jan. 2022 (CS:05, Ride 2). 3. Heyson street (from Streeton Drive to the Tuggeranong Parkway). * This was addressed on 29 Jan. 2022 (RR.07). NB 1: This was the first suburb requiring multiple rides. I initially thought I'd completed it in two. However, in February 2024 (while checking and re-formatting the suburb's notes and gps map) I discovered that Weston's boundary in Google Maps was now different to the one published in January 2022. This necessitated a third ride. [See CS.05, Ride 3; 3 Mar. 2024, for further details]. NB 2: In 2022 construction began on the TDK Amberfield retirement community at 240 Cotter Road (located in the district of Weston Creek but not within any Canberra suburb). In mid-2025 I began to query its address in order confirm or negate it as a suburb ride. Research indicated that the ACT government considered Amberfield's official (postal) address as being linked to Weston (despite the suburb's closest border being 800 metres south). This meant that I was required to ride it (as part of Weston). I did this on 1 Feb. 2026 (see RR:130). 🎷 20.5 new kilometres (Wandrer)
