Clay's Cycling Canberra Project: Every Street 'n Every Suburb. - Weston, ACT - #05 (of 122 suburbs). Incomplete. - Two missed sections. During a walk through Weston with our dog Penny sometime in late-October 2023 I realised that I had missed these public thoroughfares during this second ride: 1. Namatjira Drive (Mountview Estate). 2. Mather Street (Pineview Estate). * Both were finally addressed on 9 Nov. 2023 (see RR:56). NB 1: Weston was the first suburb requiring multiple rides to complete. I initially thought I'd completed it after this ride. However, in February 2024 (while checking and re-formatting the suburb's notes and gps map) I discovered that Weston's boundary in Google Maps was now different to the one published in January 2022. This necessitated a third ride. [See CS.05, Ride 3 - 3 Mar. 2024, for further details]. NB 2: In 2022 construction began on the TDK Amberfield retirement community at 240 Cotter Road (located in the district of Weston Creek but not within any Canberra suburb). In mid-2025 I began to query its address in order confirm or negate it as a suburb ride. Research indicated that the ACT government considered Amberfield's official (postal) address as being linked to Weston (despite the suburb's closest border being 800 metres south). This meant that I was required to ride it (as part of Weston). I did this on 1 Feb. 2026 (see RR:130). 🎷 19.8 new kilometres (Wandrer)
