Clay's Cycling Canberra Project: Every Street 'n Every Suburb. - Weston, ACT - #05 (of 122 suburbs). Completed on 1 Feb. 2026 [4.09%] * - No missed sections. Weston was the first suburb to take multiple rides to complete. In 2022 I believed this to two (plus a handful of fix-ups). However, this was not the case by a long shot. - Ride 3: In February 2024 I discovered that Weston's northern boundary in Google Maps was now significantly different to the one published in January 2022. The difference was too big to address as part of a random ride and hence this third attempt. - Supplementary Ride: In Feb. 2023, almost a year after I thought I'd completed Weston, construction began on the TDK Amberfield retirement community at 240 Cotter Road (located in the district of Weston Creek but not within any gazetted Canberra suburb). In mid-2025 I began to query its address in order confirm or negate it as a required suburb ride. Research indicated that the ACT government considered Amberfield's official (postal) address as being linked to Weston (despite the suburb's closest border being 800 metres to the south). This meant that I was required to ride it (as part of Weston). I did this on 1 Feb. 2026, but as part of a random ride (see RR:130).
