The Webb Road section is low traffic, with good scenery. After that there is a 1/2 mile section of U.S. 60 that had more traffic of course, but on the day of this ride included only about 5 passing vehicles. Late in the ride, there is another short section of riding on U.S. 60 too. Conner Station Road is also low traffic, high scenery. There are some significant hill climbs on this ride, but if you've ridden much in KY you'll have no problem. The Louisville Loop walking/biking trail was low traffic on the day of this ride, but it was Derby Day and late afternoon too. Riding on the road in the parks is an option, but FYI, there are some steep uphill sections and the road is too narrow for two vehicles and a bike to pass all at the same time. On this route, in order to connect Beckley Creek Park with Gilliland Road, you must ride on a gravel foot/bike path*, then dismount to walk though a gap between a gate and a large fence post. *There is an alternative route on the foot/bike path (that is not shown on this route) that will avoid a short, but steep down hill section that this route has. If you do not have mountain bike experience I suggest you dismount and walk down it. I'll take that alternative path in the future. When I do I will post that on RWGPS.
